We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the New Zealand Manufacturing team, and honestly, this is one of those roles that doesn’t come up very often.

What you’ll actually be doing
You’ll lead the NZ Manufacturing sales team, setting them up to succeed, keeping them accountable (in the good way), and making sure customers are genuinely looked after.
A Snapshot of your day…
- Leading and growing a high-performing sales team across NZ
- Building and managing a healthy pipeline, and keeping your forecasting sharp
- Getting in front of customers and prospects, understanding their world, and showing them how we can help
- Coaching your team to write great proposals and have confident, effective conversations
- Hunting for new business in the manufacturing sector while protecting and growing existing accounts
- Working closely with technical and support teams to deliver real outcomes for customers
- Keeping the Senior Leadership team in the loop with clear reporting and market insights
- Occasionally travelling to Australia for management forums, passport ready!
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what would make you a great fit:
- 5+ years in a B2B solution selling position (bonus points if it’s been in tech or manufacturing)
- 3+ years leading a sales team of 5 or more people, you know how to bring the best out of people
- You can hold your own in a room full of senior stakeholders and come across as credible and calm, presenting tech solutions
- You’re commercially sharp, you understand margin, pipeline, and what it takes to hit a number
- Strong communicator, written, verbal, in presentations, in tough conversations
- You know your way around a complex sale and can coach others to do the same
- Engineering background or experience with design technology?
