Client are secured by a team of Business Development Managers, then your responsibility is to strengthen the relationships, problem solve, upsell as well as entertain.

This position has plenty of growth opportunity where you have the potential to further develop your sales skills and potentially incorporate leadership responsibilities.

This is where you come in…

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager who has an understanding of adding value to your clients.  This employer has strong values around always offering an exceptional service and ensuring all clients are truly nurtured.

A Snapshot Of Your Day:

  • On the road actively meeting with a range of organisations, business owners, property managers, facilities and operation staff.
  • Working toward targets which will see you earn bonus’s per quarter
  • Ensuring you are aware of any issues with Tech hardware and software and keeping on top of servicing (coordinating your team of technicians/installers)
  • Negotiating new deals and upselling
  • Maintaining an up to date CRM system which shows your pipeline of opportunity and all feedback on meetings.
  • Working very closely with the wider team of colleagues
  • Weekly/monthly reporting of data based on customer trends
  • Managing a regular cycle of client meetings, including regular entertaining with activity for your customers.  (Sports events, charters through to dinners).

Your Experience:

You will be a very organised person, excellent with systems and process and have an absolute passion for people and driving relationships to their full potential.

A strong sales mindset, with an understanding of service being delivered consistently, at a high level.

The Opportunity

NZ Owned and well established throughout the country, this is one business under a larger group of companies.
Specialists in manufacturing roofing products and systems, they supply to both residential and commercial sectors.

With new projects in the pipeline, the Sales team are needing some additional support with their administration.   This is a vital role where you are responsible for the end to end project management (behind the scenes).

 
A snapshot of your day:

  • Managing all necessary documentation for quotations.  Includes working with the sales team on their plans and materials.
  • Calculating materials and ensuring the production team are working alongside.
  • Maintaining an accurate system of products, incoming and outgoing.
  • Dealing with clients directly both on the phone and face to face.
  • Coordination of installers on site
  • Administration and ensuring CRM is consistently updated
  • Working alongside the field sales team with their administration and lead follow through.

 
We are seeking someone who has a goal to learn sales.   The Sales Manager wants to bring you up to speed with the entire operation so you can progress into an on-road position OR perhaps another internal role.

Joining the sales department, we do need someone confident on the phone; as this is your main responsibility.

  • Following up on all incoming leads (businesses enquiring about their logistics requirements)
  • Understanding their business, and providing a solution to work together
  • Providing quotations and contract costs
